Auditors Conducting 2002-2003 Audit

The Auditor of State has begun conducting its audit of the Village records for the years 2002 and 2003. The Audit being conducted is part of the normal audit conducted every two years as required by law. Because of the request for a Fiscal Watch Determination made by former Mayor Raylene Graves the audit was moved up in the year.

The current audit will not be making the Fiscal Watch Determination but based on the findings from the audit they will make a recommendation to the Local Government Services Division of the Auditor of State if they need to begin the determination for Fiscal Watch Status.

The Audit report can be expected to be released later this year in the Spring. Once the report is released it will be made available on the Auditor of State's website at http://www.auditor.state.oh.us or copies may be requested through the Village Hall.
