HIGHLIGHTS OF COUNCIL PAYMENTS

February was a great month for council as they kept calling special meeting after special meeting. Council salaries that month $850 Irene and Raylene both made $200 in that month for 1 regular council meeting, 2 special meetings, and 1 parks meeting. Bob and Jack each totaled in with $150 and Dennis got $100. This was the month Sue was elected so she only got $50. Thanks Sue. The month of June was also a good month for the council members as the salaries for that month were $1,250.

Irene White, Bob Graves, Steve Williams and Sue Huber each got $250. Jack got $150 and Dennis got $100. This was the month of the hearing against the Chief the council members got
paid for every night they were there, even though it was considered one meeting.

Where was the Accountability from the council members? They were accounting for it, right in their bank accounts. Sound fiscal management and accountability mean nothing to this group. It seemed as if they wish to make as much money as they can, without doing any work for it. It was good to see that all of the council members decreased their income in the second half of the year since they had spent $3,750 in the first half. 85% of the budgeted money was spent in the first 6 months.
