STEWARDSHIP OR THEFT?

At the November 4, 2002 Regular Council meeting, mayor Graves admitted using the Village cell phone to place long distance and local personal cell calls. The calls were to such places as Argosy Casino, Baby?’s-R-Us. After mayor Graves was caught ?“stealing?” from the Village she stated she would pay back to the Village personal charges she accumulated, of over $400.00. But to date the mayor has not stated when she intends to pay back the Village. Paid back or not, mayor Raylene does have a problem with stealing from residents of Valleyview. Not Accountability. Not Stewardship. Just theft. The mayor should resign.
