November Council Meeting Highlights

The November Council Meeting was completed in 1 hour 15 minutes. New Councilman Ron Hays was introduced to the residents and it was his first regular council meeting.

The Council considered legislation for a engineering services from Pomeroy & Associates for bridge inspections in the Village, the creation of a newsletter editor position for the Village and electronic device usage policy for the Village.

The Village also voted on a Resolution recognizing the volunteer services provided by resident Rob Bogard for the upkeep of the parks of the Village. The Resolution was passed 6-0 in recognition of Mr. Bogard's help to the Village.

The resolution for engineering services was approved 5-1 with Mr. Morgan dissenting. The electronic usage device policy was a first reading and will be considered at the December meeting after members of Council have a chance to review the policy one last time before voting on its approval. The resolution creating a Newsletter Editor for the Village was passed 6-0 by the Council.

There was discussion as to when the repairs on the streets would begin. Mr. Watkins stated that he had been in contact with the Companies and that they would be starting work soon.
