Village Council Seeking To Fill Vacancy On Council

The Village Council is accepting written statements of qualifications from residents interesting in filling a vacancy on the Council.

Councilwoman Irene White has moved outside of the Village and has vacated her seat on Council. The Village Council will be reviewing the candidates to fill the term of Ms. White's seat which expires on December 31st, 2005.

For a resident to be eligible they must be a registered voter and have resided in the Village for one year.

The Village Council is asking that those residents interested in serving out the term of Ms. White's seat on Council submit a written statement of thier qualifications such as current job, volunteer work and/or special skills that they could bring to the Council.

It would also be helpful to include a statement as to what you would like to accomplish while serving on Council if you are chosen to fill the seat.
