COME ON IRENE

Irene White made an attempt to remove mayor Raylene Graves by filing charges against her in Franklin County Probate Court. In filing the complaint Irene presented 38 complaints against mayor Graves. Irene had been telling residents that it would only cost $160 to file the charges and remove mayor Graves. Only after filing the complaint did Irene learn that by filing the complaint that she could potentially cost the Village $30,000 or more in legal fees. This is $30,000+ of your money that could be used to help increase our Police Protection. Irene was perfectly willing to waste your money and put your life, your family and your property in danger. This Village has not recovered from the waste of money of the hearing to remove the Chief that Irene was a part of helping this Village spend $14,000+ that we could not afford to spend. Now she wants to spend more money that the Village can even less afford to remove the mayor. The mayor needs to step down or be removed, but is the best solution spending $30,000 of your money for mostly personal conflicts between Irene and Raylene? The best thing that Irene has done for this Village during her tenure on council was dropping the complaint to help save this Village money. Thanks Irene.
