Central Ohio Good Shepherds was founded by director, Angie Jones, in March of 2000. This non-profit organization sprang from a need to share with others her love of dogs, as well as a desire to educate the public on the benefits of pet assisted therapy. Therapy dogs provide unconditional love and companionship that lift the spirits of individuals in hospitals, nursing homes and other institutions. Our goal is to become the largest TDI chapter in the Central Ohio area, thus increasing the number of available therapy dogs, as well as the number of institutions we serve. We are always seeking volunteers who are willing to share their remarkable animals with others.
Central Ohio Good Shepherds sponsors Canine Good Citizens and Therapy Dog International testing for your dog. If you would like to know when the next test will be held or what the test involves please email or write for more information.
