The Village of Bailey Station Homeowners Association, Inc.

The Village Voice March, 2002

Apr 18, 2002

Hello Villagers,
We welcome several new families to the neighborhood this month:
Rebecca Bryan 1632 Gosnold Bluff Cv.
K.D.Johnson fam. 1721 Windebank Crt.
Perry/Annette Main 1652 Gosnold Bluff Cv.
Rob/Terry Shropshire 1741 Village Ridge Pl.
The Main's are in the last new home in our sub-division to be sold. The only homes available now are re-sales. We are thankful that homes have been selling even with the recent downturn in the economy.

We are preparing for our Annual meeting to be held April 23 at the Club House. Mark that date on your calendar, and be sure to be here for this important meeting to elect your Board of Directors for the coming year. Proxies will be out soon for those who cannot be here to vote. A plea for volunteers to serve on the necessary committees for the coming year is also pending. Please check off your committee of interest and return these to the Village mail box across from the Club House entrance as soon as possible.

We are happy to report that the Toys contributed at the Christmas Social are in the hands of "Angel Wishes" children at Collierville United Methodist Church. Those children enjoyed a better Christmas because of your generosity.

Laura McLemore, Chair of the Security and Neighborhood Watch Committee, reports that she is planning a Security Event soon to provide metal engraving for identification of valuable items prone to theft. Another Wine Tasting Social is also planned for late March.

We continue to have people in our neighborhood who do not pick up after their pets. That is a Collierville Law as well as local rule. Please have consideration for your neighbors and pick up. This is a people problem, not a pet problem.

We regret to report the passing of two of our neighbors last week. Betty Patzsch of Lot 44, 1718 Windebank Court passed away on Sunday evening, February 24. Our hearts go out to Joe and Betty's other relatives. Sue Crawford Bass, mother of Joan Scott, lot 8, 1729 Constable Court, passed away on Thursday, February 28. She has lived with Bill & Joan for some time. Our hearts go out to them as well.
