Remember riding your first big wheel, getting your training wheels taken off your first ?“big kid?” bike, and, of course, riding hands free and way too fast on your way to the park when you were a kid? Derailer is working to keep this spirit of childhood alive for all Denver residents by running a FREE bike shop with an allvolunteer staff. You can check out a bike to ride for a day, a week, or better yet, learn how to build your own brand new bike! They provide the tools, expertise and bike parts. You can also
come in for assistance tuning up your new rig in one of their maintenance workshops. Better yet, volunteer with Derailer or donate your old bike. If you have donations, call Derailer at
303-893-0305 or Sarah at 303-882-8628. You can also drop off bikes when they?’re open or see if Derailer can come by and pick up the bike for you. You can visit the shop at 411 Lipan Street or go to www.derailerbicyclecollective.org
