Old Business
Deed Restrictions
Deed Restrictions are currently being revamped. Joe Halada, vice President, s heading this effort. He is looking into what other developments are doing.


Budget
No report.

New Business

Deed Restriction Enforcement
House Bill No. 454 has been established to help developments to resolve disputes relating to deed restriction violations. (Posted on neighborhoodlink .com)

Storm Drain
The storm will be under strict scrutiny and must be kept clear and free of debris. A suggestion was make to hire the current community lawn service company to maintain the upkeep.

Yard Waste
Jan 1, 2007, yard waste will be ineligible for regular household trash pickups. Other arrangements will have to be made. (Posted on neighborhoodlink .com)

ADU
The concept of allowing a homeowner to add an ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit) to their home or yard is under consideration by the Count Council. This will allow the homeowner to turn their garage into an apartment or possibly build a small unit in the back yard to house an elderly parent, provide a unit for a child, or to just use as additional income. NCCo RV-boat Ordinance
The ordinance to ease residential parking restrictions on boats, trailers and recreational vehicles was voted down. However, community deed restrictions will supersede any ordinance. (Copy of Article Posted on neighborhoodlink .com)

Officer Nominations
There are two positions currently vacant at this time, treasurer and secretary. The association is open for nominations.

Countryside
Westover Woods won 5th place at the Countryside nursery. Please mention your development?’s name when purchasing plants and garden items from Countryside. Each year, the development with the highest dollar amount of purchases is awarded plants to put in the common areas.

Streetlights
Call Delmarva Power for burned out streetlights.


Snow Removal
The snow removal contract is being renewed with the same guidelines, 3 or more inches, snow is plowed.

Night Walkers
As a safety note, walkers at night are encouraged to wear reflective clothing or carry a flashlight.

Newsletter
There will be no guarantee that newsletters will be delivered to your home. All Westover Woods information and newsletters will be available on the internet.
