MEET THE BOARD

KATHY BERRY

Kathy Berry is a new member of the
WLPCA Board. She and her husband, Alan,
have lived in West Lane Place since1995.
She is Senior Counsel at Lyondell
Chemical Company in charge of corporate
real estate matters. Kathy is a
graduate of Texas A&M University,
where she earned a BBA in Finance,
and is a graduate of the University
of Houston Law Center.

PAULA DJABARRAH

Paula Djabbarah and her husband,
Nizar, moved to Houston five years
ago as a result of the ExxonMobil merger.
Their son, Ryan, works for a sports
marketing firm in Manhattan. Prior
to moving to WLP they have lived in
Dallas, Tulsa, Danbury, CT, and Chicago.
Paula has served on the WLPCA Board
for 21/2 years as Secretary. She is a
graduate of University of
Illinois. She worked 10 years for the
American Red Cross and 16 years as
head of her own training and consulting
business in Dallas. Since moving to
Houston she completed an internship at
Baylor as a family and marriage
counselor and worked at M.D. Anderson
counseling cancer patients. She is
currently serving on the Board of the
Catholic Campaign for Human
Development and has become a new
volunteer for RESULTS.
"When we first moved to Houston
we were concerned about making new
friends in an urban setting. Those
fears were forgotten after our first
WLPCA neighborhood party and after
the first meeting of Bookenders. We
appreciate
the warm reception we received in
this special neighborhood since the
day we moved. It is one of the many
reasons WLPCA has our full support."
