DON'T GO ON THE WATER WITHOUT THIS CLASS!

Just three ‘Boat Smart’ classes and you will have the pre-requisite for the Sheriff’s license that you need to operate a personal watercraft and/or the basic knowledge to operate a power and sail boat on Michigan Lakes. Teenagers and adults alike need this class to obtain their license.

Free Safety Check for your boat!

The Detroit Power Squadron will inspect the safety of your boat to the standards of the United States Coastguard.
