SEPTEMBER AGENDA FOCUSES ON QUICK WINS II ORDINANCE: Our next general meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 16th, 2003 at the Washington Park United Methodist Church at 1955 E. Arizona Street downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. The meeting begins at 7 PM and will run for about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. The main topic of discussion will be the Quick Wins II ballot issue for November. We will review what this zoning ordinance does and does not do, and there will be time for questions. This is a city-wide issue and we encourage everyone to attend. Two days, later, Thursday, September 18th, WPENA will host the second annual ice-cream social to thank all of our newsletter distribution volunteers. Volunteers are welcome to bring their family along and join us at the Mt. Vernon Garden just north of Grassmere Lake from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM. And finally, the WPENA Board would like to thank Nicole McCauley of Noodles and Company in Cherry Creek for providing a free meal for the Board's evening meeting on August 12th. It was delicious!
