AS THE BUNGALOWS TURN

Washington Park East homes have been changing for the past decade. The rate of that change seems to have increased in the past year. Are the changes in our bungalows, Denver squares, and Tudors affecting the character of our neighborhood? Dow we want to maintain that character? Can we expand our homes without compromising their basic architectural integrity?
Those are among the questions Washington Park East residents will discuss at a special neighborhood meeting on Wednesday, June 23. The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., in the O'Fallon Theater at Denver Academy, 1101 S. Race St.
