GET YOUR TREES READY FOR 2000: FREE TREE CARE WORKSHOP OCTOBER

Trees are an important natural resource in our Washington Park neighborhood, producing oxygen, shade and privacy in summer, and color in the fall. Learn how to care for your own trees, particularly how to trim young trees to reduce maintenance costs later. Call 722-6262 for information about the workshop, for street tree request forms, and to volunteer. Street tree requests are due by November 30th to get your first choice(s). Trees should be available for pick-up next April 15th.
