The special October membership meeting of WPENA will be a Candidates' Forum scheduled for Wednesday,
18 October 2000 in the Fellowship Hall of the Washington Park United Methodist Church at 1955 E. Arizona Ave. (Enter through the double glass doors on the south side of the building marked 1955 E. Arizona and go downstairs.) You may talk individually with the candidates from 6:45 PM to 7 PM when the program begins. The candidates for Congressional District 1, State Senate District 32, and RTD District A have been invited. The Denver Election Commission will also make a brief presentation regarding the advisability of voting an absentee ballot for the upcoming election.
