Please join us for our first Washington Park East Neighborhood Association meeting of the year 2002. Among our guests will be Mike Michalek from the Office of Emergency Preparedness. The OEP office has a comprehensive plan to coordinate the different city departments and other community support services such as the American Red Cross, Denver Health and Denver Public Schools to respond to disasters such as fires, severe weather, transportation accidents, hazardous material incidents, civil disturbance, terrorism, or enemy attack. The meeting will be held at the Washington Park United Methodist Church at 1955 E. Arizona, but in a different room than usual. Please go upstairs and to your right to the South Parlor. We look forward to welcoming you at 7PM on January 18th, 2002. Refreshments will be provided.
