Waveland Park's
MERCY BEAVERDALE MEDICAL CLINIC
Waveland Park is a full-service neighborhood...including resources for medical care. The Mercy
Beaverdale Clinic at 1750 48th Street will observe its eighth year as a family practice clinic this
summer. Whether you need to find a family doctor for routine care or have a medical
emergency, their doors are open six days a week. Six family practice physicians are located at
the Clinic: James A. Frahm, MD; Thomas A. Peacock, MD; Donald R. Fillman, MD; Wm. M.
Jagiello, DO; Sudeep K. Gupta, DO; and Jeanne M. Giddings, DO.
Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and they are also open on Saturday
mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon. The Clinic operates primarily on an appointment basis, but
does take walk-ins as needed. Emergencies are seen immediately (lacerations, broken bones,
etc.). To make an appointment, simply call 271-6333. Appointments can generally be set up the
same day you call, with physical examinations three days to one week out.
The Mercy Beaverdale Clinic is a business member of the Waveland Park Neighborhood
Association and has generously offered use of the Mercy Franklin Center's gymnasium for the
WPNA "Spring Fling" and Annual Meeting on April 10th. In addition to information on their
services, you can get a free blood pressure check during the Spring Fling. If you haven't been to
the Mercy Beaverdale Medical Clinic in Waveland Park, be sure to come to the April meeting
and take a look at their facility. They also have a meeting room which may be available for use
by community groups and organizations. For details, contact Clinic Manager Margo Lierman,
RN.
