l Write letters to the editor of your local newspapers every chance you get:

l Start a letter campaign to elected officials, commissioners, and candidates and send copies to relevant bureaucrats (LAWA, FAA). You could use a form letter, each signed by different individuals

l Call in on radio talk shows during open comment hours and discuss expansion issues. Mayor Riordan is on KFWB (980 AM) on the third Wednesday of every month at 10:00am. Call the studio and ask questions about his LAX expansion.

l Pass out fliers to your neighbors to educate them

l Circulate a Petition

l Submit an article to your civic association newsletter

l Organize your own town hall meeting

l Raise the issue at elected officials and candidates forums

l Call the Noise Hotline to report loud airplane 310-64-NOISE. Always ask for a response in writing
