Westenders Neighborhood

Westenders On Line

Jan 30, 2003

Greetings to all in our area! Hopefully this will be the first of many informational Newsletters. As we begin this process, we would like to invite anyone with ideas or information that might help us out, to feel free to contact us. This is something we would like to be a useful tool for each of you and in order for our newsletter to succeed, we need input from
others.
To Block Captains in our area, we would like to know what your neighborhoods are doing to create a safe and fun neighborhood. We
want to know what works in your neighborhood, what concerns and problems you might have and if we can assist or help by putting our "heads" together, possibly other neighborhoods might benefit.
As the Westenders we want to enhance our neighborhoods and create an atmosphere of caring about our area as we become more responsive to ways we can improve communication, share ideas and strive to keep our area free of crime. This will take an active participation from many within our boundries.
This is not an HOA but a concerned group of citizens that take pride in this neighborhood and we will all benefit in the future by working to build a caring but not overbearing association.
In Mesa, we are fortunate to have a city that encourages neighborhood groups and we have many resources available to us but we need to know how we can help each other.
Feel free to contact Dick at (480) 833-2077 or Joanne at (480) 833-1642.
