Vandals were rampant this week. Numerous cars damaged by bb or pellet guns. If the actors are caught, they will face criminal punishment and the parents may be responsible for damages and injuries. If the actors are caught and are 17 years of age or older, their arrest pictures may be in the newspaper, maybe even on television.



On the subject of bb guns, it is illegal to shoot ANY air powered weapon in the City of Fort Worth . This includes bb guns, pellet guns, paint ball guns, air soft guns, etc. It is a class C misdemeanor, plus any damages to property or persons.



This week we also had kids on bicycles shooting air soft pellets at kids. This is criminal assault, not play. If any parents have provided these air type guns to their kids, they may want to re-think that decision. These “toys” can cause serious injury.



As always, please call in suspicious activity. This helps catch and/or deter criminal activity. The criminal offense you prevent might be against you or your neighbor.
