Donnie L. Malone, Executive Director of the Thomas B. Davis Family YMCA, describes himself
as a listener and bridge builder who sets high standards for himself and those on his team. A native Memphian, Malone brings 14 years
of professional YMCA experience to one of the finest Urban Group YMCA?’s in the country- -right here in Whitehaven.

Donnie and his wife Fonda have four children ages 3, 5, 16,and 18. He is a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School and Tennessee State University.

The YMCA Davis Branch has demonstrated its
commitment to the community through its programs and activities that strengthen the community, its children and its families. In the last five years, over $1.6 million in facility enhancements have been completed at the Davis Branch including:

?• Construction of a new waterpark, the only outdoor swimming pool for public use in Whitehaven.
?• Construction of the Kemmons Wilson Family Center.
?• Addition of new playground equipment.
?• Resurfacing and painting of the indoor pool.
?• Donation of 3 acres of land along Shelby Drive for future day camp site and youth sports field.

Malone is currently seeking funding for the following projects:

?• Baseball field for youth programs on the Peek
property.
?• Resurfacing and stripping the parking lot.
?• New gymnasium roof and insulation.
?• Pavilion/Air nasium for Summer Campers on Peek
property.
