Ford Road Residents Are Working with Kids


Are your kids complaining that there is nothing for them to do? Well, with school in session, a good part of their day is occupied. However, all work and no play can make a kid?’s life
pretty dull. Look no further than Deerskin and Moccasin streets and your prayers for something fun and healthy for your kids to do will be
fulfilled.

The Ford Road Residents Association
is not only "talking the talk," but they are "walking the walk," when it comes to their involvement with kids in the community. On the 2nd Saturday of each month your child can
participate in "Gym Night." Children ages 6-16 years of age can meet at the Ford Road Community
Building at 680 Moccasin at 4 pm. They will be transported to the Davis Family YMCA by school bus
where they can participate in a number of activities. The evening ends at 8 pm and they are returned to the Ford Road Community
Building.

If you would like for your child to become involved, call Ms. Malinda Julius at 789-2644 to
sign them up. This activity is FREE but they must be registered. "Gym Night" is sponsored by Mr.
Fisher of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
