Many homeowners wanted a more convenient, and nicer way to get to restaurants and other businesses on HWY 9 and Windward Parkway when walking. Many home- owners have been forced with walking through the mud to cross over to the Promenade. We partnered with Riverwood Properties who owns the Promenade to build a new concrete walkway between the two properties. Riverwood agreed to pay 50% of the cost even though 75% of the walkway is on WPHOA property.
