At our semi-annual meeting on October 30th, nine people attended.
Both Bryon Short and Jim Bowers were guest speakers at this meeting. They outlined their platforms and answered questions from those attending.
The main concerns brought up at this meeting were: the possibility of a traffic/ flashing light at the entrance to the development; speeding on Southwick; walked dogs that are urinating on lawns; enforcement of the “No stopping, standing, or parking” in front of the homes on Silverside Road.
Dues were paid by almost 80% of the households in Windybush. Our goal is to have 100% participation. The main expenditures continue to be snow removal and insurance. Dues will remain at $20.00.
The paving project that was planned for the entrance to our neighborhood is still slated for this year, unless there is a rash of bad weather. It is possible that it will be delayed until spring.
Reminders:
WALKERS!!!!!! Walk facing traffic for your safety.
Please trim roadside bushes to allow for unobstructed visibility.
Look for our sign at the entrance of the development; it will announce coming events.
