B Street Theatre Update

March 2008 - The B Street Theatre is now in the schematic design phase of a new two-theatre, mixed-use complex at 27th Street and Capitol Avenue. In addition to being a performance facility, plans for the building include 95 condominiums above the theatre with a parking garage below. B Street will develop the facility in conjunction with SKK Developments on land donated by Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento.

The building will include a 250-seat theater and a 365-seat theater. Parking for B Street Theatre patrons will be provided in the new Sutter Community Parking Garage across the alley from the theater. Parking for condominium residents will be provided in the parking structure within the theater complex. The height of the new building will be approximately the same as the Sutter Community Parking Garage. For more information contact:
