is a team of friends and family that are always ready, willing and able to pitch in and get the job done.
As the name of our organization states, we are "women" in community service. Therefore, the men who play a part in this organization are left somewhat anonymous. We knew that it just wouldn't do to leave out approximately 1/2 of the "family", so we decided to include them by giving them a special place and title of recognition.
These husbands, fathers, and sons are the ones that do the building and carrying and lifting and loading. They are the ones that sit at home while we have our meetings and come up with all the ways they can be useful. They are the guys that cook and eat alone because we have been out serving the community. They come up with the designs and practical plans for our abstract ideas and help make our dreams come true.
As we rush off to another meeting or let you know at the last minute that you have been volunteered to work another few hours after working all day, remember that we love you and appreciate the support that you give us. We could not do so much of what we do without your willing attitude and encouragement.
