We have been very fortunate to have been given three copy machines. We certainly have never turned down a donation. One problem. We've not been able to get any of them to work.
We need a good working copier that can print at least 1000 copies a month. We let the other copiers go and have been left with one. A Lanier 6525. The machine on the bottom has the model # 6525-AG and the model on the lid is RADF-25AG. We have cleaned and lubricated the machine to the best of our ability but it still doesnt work. It lights up like a Christmas tree but the gadget under the glass won't move back and forth. ???
It would have been so much easier and less costly to have been able to copy the after school tutoring worksheets on our own machine. Also, now that the newsletter will begin hitting the streets it would certainly help with printing/copy costs.
If anyone out there has some resources that can lead us in the direction of getting our machine fixed or getting us another one that works, we would sure appreciate it. We would be willing to give in-kind donations, trade something else of value that we may have.
If you know someone in the copier business who has a surplus of old, but working machines, let them know that we are a legally incorporated non-profit organization and any donation to us would be tax deductable. Please, if you are so inclined, give us a buzz.
