RED Flag Alert - 06-14-07

On 06-10-07, a home near the entrance of Wood Oak was burglarized. The homeowners left to go to a local store and then returned home within a short time. A blue pick-up truck was in the driveway of the home and as the owners approached the house to see who was there, the suspect jumped into the vehicle and sped away. Yesterday on Wood Oak, Memphis Police stopped a vehicle and person matching the description of the suspect. They questioned the person and will continue to investigate.
It is the summertime and the many of the homeowners will be away on vacation so we all must watch for unusual vehicles or persons prowling the neighborhood.
