Volunteers Needed:
If you are interested in any of the following positions, please contact any one of your board members.
1. Neighborhood Watch Program
We are looking for a neighborhood watch coordinator and 4-5 neighbors to serve as block captains for a neighborhood watch program. This is particularly important since the community had a rash of break-ins & broken car windows last summer.
2. Web Site Development
Do you have experience with computers ?– particularly working with the web? Several of the community expressed a need for more communication. We are looking for someone who can assist in setting up a neighborhood web site through the City of Aurora. This informative web site will provide the neighborhood with updated information regarding issues of concern.
3. Fall Party
Let?’s party! We are looking for a coordinator and volunteers for the annual neighborhood party. Due to the extreme heat during the summer months, we are considering a fall party this year.
House Painting
If you wish to paint the original color of your home?’s exterior, there is no need to have it reviewed by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). If you wish to change the exterior color of your house/trim/shutters, submit your request to the ACC for consideration via the management company prior to painting. Any changes in
color shall be in character with the colors in the neighborhood and shall not stand out among the existing
homes. All of the original colors can be purchased from
Kwal Howell paint store, but they can be matched at most paint supply stores.
NOTE: All requests are to be submitted to the management company at least two weeks prior to inception of work. Work cannot start until you have been notified that your request has been approved.
Fence Painting Reminder
Several of the homeowner exterior fences are in poor condition with severe water stains or with no stain at all. Remember, they must be stained with Behr solid color Golden Beige (DP-315) which is available at Home Depot. All perimeter fences MUST be stained with this color when your fence needs staining and no later than 7/1/09 whichever comes first.
Planning on a Home Improvement?
Remember that all changes to the exterior of your home or landscaping must comply with the covenants. You need to submit a request for review by the Architectural Control Committee.

Shalom Park Development Project
Shalom Park will begin an expansion which will close off Belleview Drive to Fairplay St. Access to the back of our community will be via Fairplay St. A meeting to discuss your concerns regarding this issue will be at Shalom Park on Wednesday, March 6th at 6:30.
Recreational Equipment
Sports equipment and play time equipment should not be visible to others from your front yard when not in use. Please be sure to move these items to the side of your house or to your back yard when not in use.
Meeting with Woodgate HOA
Woodgate South has been invited to a meeting at Sagebrush Elementary 3/19 at 7PM to discuss Neighborhood Watch with our PAR officer, Aurora water rates and the Parker Corridor Study. You are encouraged to attend.
