Micro Cell Phone Towers Senate Bill 213

The bill in the link below has passed the Indiana Senate and going to the house. It classifies a short cell phone tower as a utility pole. That means one can be placed in any easement (along the side or back of your property) or right-of-way (as in the grass strip between the sidewalk and street) without notification or discussion.

The bill has been handled quickly and quietly. People should be made aware of it as it can happen anywhere. One was installed in Woodland Lakes, but was removed after protests. So the companies are pushing this bill so there won't be a way to protest the next one.

I am contacting Rep Carbaugh to request it's defeat
