Long Beach - Last night at its Annual Meeting, prominent, long time community improvement group, the Wrigley Association elected four members to its eleven member Board of Directors, each to serve a two year term. The election was proceeded by the candidates addressing the crowd and sharing their many past contributions volunteering in the community and their vision for the future.
Returning Board members re-elected to fill three of four open positions, were community leaders Danny Amat, Annie Greenfeld-Wisner and Colleen McDonald. Long time community volunteer Jenny Beaver was elected to fill the 4th open position. The remaining Board members who were not up for re-election are: Christopher Graeber, Joan Greenwood, PG Herman, Gavin McKiernan, Nancy Risch and Andrew Scammon. In accordance with Wrigley Association By-Laws, David Carlton, the current President will remain on the Board for an additional year.

The Wrigley Association is one of the oldest and largest community improvement groups in Long Beach with 260 members. Our mission is to work together, as a community, to improve the day to day quality of life for all that call Wrigley home.
The general meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Veteran's Park Social Hall, 101 East 28Th Street, 1 block east of Pacific Avenue.(If the first Monday is a holiday, the meeting will be held on the 2nd Monday of the month).
