GENERAL MEETING

Call to Order at 7:07 P.M. by Alan Tolkoff, Vice- Chair

Board Member Role Call:
?• Present: Amat, Carlton, Graeber, Greenfeld-Wisner, McKiernan, Norvell, Risch, Tolkoff
?• Absent: Greenwood, Haas, Hill

Approval of Minutes: M/S/C

Treasurer?’s Report ?– None due to absent of Jill Hill.

Input to the Board from Members:
?• John announced the dates for the Municipal Band, one of which will be on Wednesdays at Los Cerritos Park at 6:30 P.M.
?• July 29th Clean up on Pacific Avenue.
?• Wednesday, July 19th ?– Movies in the Park at Veteran?’s Park.

Community Planner's Report - None

Membership Report ?– Nancy
?• 166 Members
?• 70 renewed, 95 need to renew.

CPAC Report ?– Alan
?• CPAC is an advisory committee to Redevelopment. There are three types of membership; renters, home owners and businesses. Alan and Annie are officers for this year.

Discussion Topics:
?• Public Safety: West Patrol Division Representative
?• Deputy City Prosecutors James Young discussed Code Enforcement and the issues that his office deals with.
?• Lt. Joe Battle gave a report. He discussed 4th of July fireworks, as well as, other issues.
?• City Budget: Deputy City Manager Suzanne Mason gave a presentation on the City Budget. She also answered questions regarding various issues. She discussed the plan to balance the City Budget, as well as possible Tax Measurers that the City is considering for Police, Fire and Library Services.

6th District ?– None

7th District ?– Ray gave the report. The Councilwoman is on the AQMD Board.
