There will be a meeting regarding the Neighborhood Leadership Program. Call 570-1010 for more information. The Meeting will on February 7th.
Testing for Oil issue: A member raised that the City needs to follow up on damages to homes.
The Storefront Church Rezoning issue was raised.
Treasurer?’s Report ?– Annie Greenfeld-Wisner ?– No Report
Nominating Committee -- Selection of Membership Appointee
One member from the Membership, one from the President and one from the Board is needed for the nominations process. The selection will be held over until the next meeting.
Community Planner/Code Enforcement Report ?– Steve
A storefront church ordinance is going to the City Council. The General Plan is available at the City website. The January newsletter is also available.
Chief Batts gave a report.
The department will be fully staffed by the end of the month. The longevity pay is working well to retain officers. Crime stats reduction: 4th year in a row. The two officers who shot are doing well.
CPAC Report ?– Alan
$50,000 approved for street scape for Pacific (PCH ?– Willow)
Redevelopment meeting today.
Freeway Billboard signs ?– Voted down by the RDA
Pacific Avenue Report (NAG) ?– David
A brief report was given. The group is glad that the Street Scape is moving ahead.

West Division Community Forum, 3/7/07, 6:00 P.M. West Division
There are two new Lt.
Program: Laura Doud, City Auditor
A power point presentation was given regarding the City Auditors department. The revised Oil Production tax was explained and will be on the ballot. The measure needs a 2/3 vote.
Council District Reports
a. 7th Council District ?– Tonia spoke regarding the Freeway signs. The Arts Council wanted it. The Environmental Committee will hold its first neighborhood meeting. Radar Signs for Magnolia between PCH and Willow.
b. 6th Council District ?– It was discussed that the Association should make a formal request to the Mayor?’s office to speak and represent the issue of the District.

a. Next Board Meeting: February 26, 2007 (The 19th is a Holiday!)
b. March 5, 2007: Sixth District Candidate Forum (Election in May)
c. City Charter Amendments: Panel Discussion
d. In order to vote for the Board in June, members must renew by the June Meeting.
