Wrigley Village Community Garden

Hi Friends and Neighbors,

This month's Wrigley Village Community Garden work day/pot luck will be open to the public! Besides weeding common areas and spreading mulch we will be building a couple of raised beds for our newest gardeners, Catherine and Ron. They are elderly and need a little assistance getting their garden started.

If you ever wanted to visit the garden this is a perfect opportunity! The garden has grown tremendously. Come on by, check us out, and stay for some grilling!

When: Saturday, November 14; 9A-12P (stay as long/little as you like)
Where: 2044 Pacific Avenue
Long Beach, 90806 (Next to Peanut Dudes) 
*Feel free to bring a dish if participating in the potluck*

The Wrigley Association is proud to partner with Long Beach Organic, Property owner, Annette LaBarca (SISco Business Services Inc.), City of Long Beach ’s Neighborhood Leadership Program team – Waves4Change, and the Long Beach Redevelopment Agency to kick off the Wrigley Village Community Garden at 2044 Pacific Avenue . This grass roots celebration will complement the City of Long Beach ’s own extensive redevelopment efforts to improve Pacific Avenue through the Wrigley Village Streetscape Project.
