Its time to take ownership of our neigborhood; all 132.95 Acres of it. There are plenty of nature trails in Parks and the like that provide education to children, and are a great means for excersize, including a small presence of a 'foot patrol' of residents to thwart tresspassers who do not respect the upkeep provided by the residence. As stated before it will take more than 2 people to accomplish this. Billy and I have set out to start this trail. To start, it will be a Loop around Massey's Lake, later extending all the way up to Bill Rutlidge Road, up towards the Pinnicle wing, down Township Drive and returning to the SW area of the Lake.
Once the Lake Loop is complete, I will have the Boulders at the Road Entrance moved back ~ 30ft to allow for residential Parking, along with a 4 ft gap in the middle for foot traffic. Later we can widen the gap to 10 ft to allow for boat access, limiting motors to electric trolling motors only to not pollute the lake and for Noise control, as it is a small Lake. Allowing boats, and the presence of parked vehicles will really raise some eyebrows to passerbys. Access is restricted to Residents and guests of residents, permission to friends who 'know' a resident is not sufficient, and requires the residents presence, per the Covenants. The more involved the residents are, the more flexable we can be on this, but as most of us have never met as of now, we are being verbatim on this.
Any thoughts...?
