Hello all, it's after the Fourth but the fireworks are still going on in our neighborhood!

I enjoyed watching a professional display of fireworks this year, but it distresses me that illegal fireworks go on in our neighborhood unchecked not only on the holiday but after the holiday. It disturbs humans sleeping as well as makes one's pets become nervous and agitated. I was hoping the local police force could help with this matter. It seems like a silly complaint,but honestly, someone could get hurt or property could be damaged besides being a nuisance. Does anyone share my thoughts or have some ideas on how to better curtail this type of activity? Thank you all, and hope the holiday went well for all!

I absolutely share your frustrations. If you havent read my post yet, I had fireworks literally thrown into my yard still hot. Lucky I woke up at 3:45 to go take care of it. I am not one who calls the cops on people, but I had to draw the line there. They never even showed up.
