Andy Diaz is currently PACE President. He is a retired Chief Master Sergeant, USAF and also retired from USAA as a Claims Security Manager. While in the Air Force he was a Special Agent with the AF Office of Special Investigations. Andy is also a Vietnam Veteran.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA from Our Lady of the Lake University. He also earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and an MA from Webster University. Andy was also a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator. His professional designations include: Associate in Claims, Fraud Claims Law Associate and Property Claims Law Associate. He was an instructor at the National Insurance Crime Bureau Academy and assisted in the development of the Academy curriculum. While at USAA, he taught fraud detection classes to claims personnel.
Andy has been married to the former, Carolyn Rodriguez for 51 years. He has two daughters, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He has lived in the South San community for over 37 years.
He has served as a tutor to students and was a School Board Trustee in the SSAISD. In addition, Andy served in several school district committees. He was also a mentor and tutor to students in the SAISD. His community awards include: Veteran in Business Award, West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce; Texas Hero For Children, Texas Board of Education; and Spirit of Achievement of Award, SAPD. Andy also graduated from the Citizens Police Academy.
