Community Services Officer

I am YOUR neighborhood resource officer. I have been a police officer with the Boulder Police Department for eight years, and am now assigned to the Community Services Unit of the Boulder Police Department. I worked on the street as a patrol officer for over seven years in district four. District four is in the south part of the city,where Shanahan Ridge is.
Generally there are one or two patrol officers assigned to district four.

Home security checks

Boulder County Crime Stoppers

Crime effects everyone. We all know this. However, two obstacles continually get in our way when trying to bring crime under control and ultimately winning the war on crime -community apathy and community denial. It's the ''it won't happen to me'' syndrome.
This provides the opportunity for crimianls to operate successfully. Most people won't become involved in fighting or preventing crime until they, or someone close to them becomes a victim. By then it's too late. That's why the Crime Stoppers Program is so important to our community. We are concerned citizens, fighting back, and bringing a sense of relief to the victims. It shows them that someone cares.
Boulder County Crime Stoppers is a community based program, overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors, designed to stop crime and solve cases in your neighborhood.
Cash awards may be paid for information that leads to an arrest and the filing of criminal charges against any individula involved in a crimainl act.
