I would like to introduce myself, my name is Faith Berry and I am the Firewise Region 1 Advisor for the states of California, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii. Firewise Communities USA is a program of the Wildland Fire Division of the NFPA. The NFPAs Mission is to protect life and property from fire including wildfire. Firewise Communities has many resources that are available free to your community through grant funding from the US Forest Service and in part from the NFPA. As you look to springtime landscape maintenance and other improvements in your community these resources are available to your board and residents again for free.
