Family

I am 47 years old, disabled and a widow with two children still at home. Carmen is 13 years old and Richard is 11 years old. They attend middle school together.

Interests

Traveling (mostly small trips to the coast in good weather), Richard enjoys fishing, Carmen is a teenage girl who enjoys going to the mall and talking on the phone with her friends. We also enjoy antique shopping, yard sale shopping, and gardening. I have a particular love of roses. We also love animals and have two dogs and two cats.

Background

I was raised on the west side of town and graduated from Fox Tech in 1975. Both of my parents passed away but fortunately I still have my mom (my grandmother actually but she raised me). My husband, George, passed away in February 2002 from cancer due to exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam. He served 27 years in the Air Force. My older son is in England, my older daughter lives here in town. I have one granddaughter, the same age as my youngest who I try to see as often as I can.
