NEW LANDSCAPING/POST OFFICES

We have redone or improved the Park West post office landscaping over the past week, planting flowers, shrubs, and installing new mulch. The Park West HOA hired Circle C Landscape to peel back the grass and install soil to make a level surface around the post office. We redid the irrigation and installed some ''deer proof'' flowers. The snapdragons must taste terrible, as they have remained in place for the past five days.

SIGN UP FOR HOLIDAY LIGHTS

We have received cards back from over half of the Park West residents who would like the holiday lights. If you have not yet sent a card in, please e-mail us at landscape@circlecranch.com We are happy to provide an extension cord if you need one. We hope to have the lights installed by the Wednesday after Thanksgiving, if not before.

LANDSCAPE SERVICES FOR NOVEMBER

We are performing/or have already done the following services for November:
corn gluten for a pre-emergent weed killer, winter preparation fertilization, and light fall trimming. We will be planting around the utility boxes and gas meters that are not screened in Park West this month, raking leaves,and remulching the beds. These services should tidy up the community quite a bit. We will be mowing again as soon as the yards look like they need it. The grass is going dormant, so the mowing becomes less frequent this time of year.

Also, from Novmeber until February, the City of Austin will be monitoring your water use. Please check your irrigation controllers to make sure that you are using your water efficienctly. If your vegetation is new, you will need to keep it thouroughly watered until plants and grass have rooted. Established homes need about 1/2-3/4'' of water per week at this time of year. This can easily be done by watering only once or twice per week.
