OUR FAMILY

Our family moved into this neighborhood in 1997 when we saw a ''for rent'' sign in the front yard.

Having moved to Arizona in 1990, we have had the opportunity to live in many different parts of the valley, and until 1997, never knew how great a neighborhood could be.

Like most neighborhoods in the valley, neighbors tend to stay to themselves, occassionally waving as they pass.

But as far as quiet, I have never had the opportunity to enjoy tranquility until moving into this neighborhood.

I am always encouraging my friends to check out the homes for sale in the neighborhood!!!

HOME IMPROVEMENT

As I said above, we have been renting our home since 1997, but in the end of 2001, we decided to purchase the home.

Soon after, we started making improvements.

From the outside, you would notice the trim has a fresh coat of paint. We went from the dreary brown trim to gray and black. This dramtically enhanced the curbside appearence of the house.

Most of our improvements happened inside though. We started by painting each room. We used a ragging technique which was greatly enhanced by the rough texture of the plaster walls. No more boring white walls.

We then added paper boarder to enhance each room. We have received many compliments for the work that we have done!

We finally replaced the eyesore chain link fence in the back with a block wall!!! Much quieter, better looking and more privacy!!!

OUR ANIMALS

We currently have

Three dogs: White Lab, Miniature Collie & Cocker Spaniel.

Two cats: Squeeky(a cross-eyed gray simese) & Devil Kitty (Black & White mix)

Three parakeets: Blueboy(blue male), Merlin(green male) & Xena(while female)

One rabit: Romeo (all white)
