A native son of Southern California, got an early start with environmental impact issues. Worked to stop the use of harmful pesticides in the growing of our food. Toured the U.S./Mexico border region to view the effects on the environment by the maquiladoras. Co-Team Leader on Earth Systems Science Incs Manzar LPC program and Annual Fruit Tree Distribution Program at Wat Thai. Volunteered with the largest urban community farm in the United States that is a vital source for healthy, fresh, organically grown food and serves as a hub for community empowerment.

Elementary school teacher in one of the United States' largest urban sprawls. Worked with students, staff, and community members on school beautification, which included a pilot garden program in which my class and I headed. Pilot program tied curricular areas and state standards with lessons that promoted environmental awareness, stewardship, and academic success. Worked as science mentor for school teachers, demonstrating lessons and assisting with planning and implementation. Co-team leader with Earth Systems Science Incorporated's (ESSI), Manzanar L.P.C. program. Volunteered with ESSI and Tree People with annual fruit tree distribution.
