About us...

HOWDY! We are the Guzmans: Abel, Celia (she goes by ''Cel'') and Austin. We live on Goat Hollow, near Steve's Run. Cel and I were both born and raised in San Antonio (I'm Burbank Class of '83 and Cel is Edison Class of '83).

What we do...

I am a Civil Engineer, while Cel is a Dental Hygienist. Austin is a Primary Level student at Judson Montessori School (JMS). I am an Aggie, Class of '91 (WHOOP!). Cel is a T-sipper (UTHSC Class of '88). But we still manage to get a long pretty well! : )

Austin is a sport fanatic (the only 5 year old I know who watches ESPN...all on his own!). Last season he played soccer for the Judson Jaguars and T-Ball for the Judson A's. This year I think he's thinking about adding basketball to his repetoire. Needless to say we are always out and about at some game or other!

While we're not chasing after our son, Cel enjoys socializing, sewing and best of all...reading. As for me, among many other things, I'm into mountain biking. I am one of the guys you might sometimes see taking care of his mountain bike after a ride (Jason Ogle and Brice Stillwagon are the other two guys on my block that bike, except I am the one who is usually limping!).

A few other things...

We live quite busy lives (who doesn't?) but are always glad to meet and socialize with our neighbors. I think we are all fortunate to live in such a great subdivision and Cel and I are especially lucky to have such great neighbors: the Ogles, the Stiles, the Stillwagons, the Essendrups, the Mayhalls, the Pohls, just to name a few. We're the ones frequently taking up half the street for our impromptu ''NW Quadrant'' Block Parties (sorry!). We invite you to join us any time you see us socializing...we're a very friendly bunch!

We are glad to see someone started this site. Our little bunch has suggested to our local board member (Mike Stiles) that we maintain a Bluffs of Henderson Pass Website in order to keep everyone informed (we had 3 ''webbies'' who volunteered to do this, just from our small group alone!).

Judging from the couple of annual meetings we've attended, it appears that having only one yearly meeting doesn't give everyone ample opportunity to speak up and to get to know one another. This is a perfect forum. Kudo's to whoever set this account up with Neighborhood Link. The problem seems to be that no one knows about it. Can someone please post the URL in the next newsletter? I will strive to get the word out so that everyone can participate.

Hope to talk to you soon...neighbor!
