We Don't Live Here

In real life they live in San Antonio, but try to get to the mountain retreat as often as possible for as long as possible. Jack is retired (twice) and Judy is an educator (that means she still works).

Ex Air Forcer

Jack retired from the Air Force in 1986 then was the personnel manager for the San Antonio Zoo for seven years. After that he worked in the HR department of the Alamo Community College District, and retired from the ACCD in Feb 2000. Now he is able to spend a couple weeks in the summer and several winter weeks in the Fraser valley.

Judy still works

Judy still has a couple years before she will be old enough to retire. She is a technologist in on of San Antonio's elementary schools. For the time being she spends her summers in the mountains as well as two to three weeks of skiing over the winter holidays.
