OUR FAMILY

Bill and I (Kathleen), recently got married on January 8, 2000. I have two children.

My son will be five shortly. And my daughter is 11 years old.

I also have two step-sons who are 19 and 22. Both boys are attending college in Georgia.

We also have two pets. An indoor cat and a dog. So if you happen to see a small black dog (long hair, floppy ears), running, with myself running after him. Please call him, ''Ren''. It means that he had escaped from our home. He will run until trapped. He has done this three times within the past four months. If I happen to need to go in your yard. Let me apologize now.

THE FAMILY BUSINESS

My husband’s family owns and operates a women's shoe store in Oldsmar. The name of the store is ''GLOBAL SHOE''.

We only carry ladies shoes, sizes 4-13. Narrow, wide, you name it. We carry about 33,000 pairs of shoes in one store.

Brand names at a discount price. Nine west, Le Donne, Westies, Enzo and much more.

The store's is located at 3705 Tampa Road, Oldsmar Fl. In he same plaza with Winn-Dixie. The intersection that is sits at is, Forest Lakes Blvd & Tampa Road.

Our hours are Wednesday thru Sat. 10-7. Sundays from 12 noon-6. We are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

We get in new stock everyday. So if you don't see anything on the day you shop, please come back and check it out.

We also have a drawing for a $100 gift certificate. So make sure you fill out an entry form. Due to the fact that we are a family business, we do NOT sell your names.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT MYSELF

I am a work at home mother. I work for the shoe store. This way I can be here for my children. However, there are times that I may have to be in the shoe store. I enjoy being around people and meeting new friends. Since moving to our neighborhood, we have been very busy. So I haven't met anyone as of yet.

I also run an online magazine from my home. I have doing this for the past two years. It is still a small E-zine, however the membership has grown to over 300 subscribers. In which I am very proud of.

I am also a Community Leader for AOL. Another thing I do so I can help others out.

Currently, I am writing a cookbook as well. My grandmother started writing a cookbook. But never finished, so my mother picked it up. Again, it wasn't finished. Now I have the recipes and have it to disk. However, I wanted to do something a bit different. I have asked my E-zine subscribers to send me their ''family'' recipes. In which several have done. They first name and state will also be by their recipe. I have also added household tips in the book as well.

So as you can see, I am a very busy woman. And like it that way. I am looking forward to meeting others in our neighborhood. So I hope to meet you someday.
