Length of Residency

I have lived most of my life in south Sacramento. I attended John Morse Elementary, Charles Geothe Middle, and John Kennedy High schools as well as Sacramento City College and Consumnes River College. I have 2 kids who are now grown and on there own, mostly. I became a home owner in 1997 and Moody Ridge property owner in 2004.

Career, Interests and Hobbies

I am a union trained electrician and worked 10 years in commercial and industrial construction. Currently I work as a maintenance electrician for the County of Sacramento. I hope to move to Moody Ridge as soon as I am able to retire from Sac County.

You may see me commuting to work on my bicycle or just out for a ride to Old Sacramento or the American River Bike Trail. Other activities I enjoy are kayaking locally at the Consumnes River Preserve, jogging with my dog, projects around the house, and live music performances with an appreciation of many different genres. I support the Sacramento Bluse Society and many of there outdoor concerts.

Neighborhood Goals and Strengths

I joined Cabrillo Park neighborhood association to help enhance communication between neighbors. Hence, began providing information for Cabrillo Park to this web site in September of 2004 and Moody Ridge in April of 2007 becoming its original coordinator. There is power in numbers and together we can have a great effect on our neighborhoods prosperity, well-being, and over all quality of life.
