Tai Chi is a Chinese martial art practiced currently for its health benefits. Many practice Tai Chi as a means for dealing with tension and stress. Tai chi emphasizes complete relaxation and meditation and has been described as “meditation in motion.”
Tai chi exercises are soft, slow flowing movements that emphasize internal force (chi) rather than brute strength.
The famous Mayo Clinic studies report “Tai Chi can help Reduce Stress, Increase flexibility, increase energy, stamina and balance.”
Classes are taught by: Dr. Larry Bobbert
Dr. Larry C. Bobbert has been practicing Tai Chi for over 25 years, has second degree black belt in Aikido and training in several styles of karate, arnis and cane self-defense.
He has been adjunct faculty for Morehead University, Eastern Kentucky U, and Midway College.
