New York Move Over Driving Law

No matter the road or highway that you are driving on in New York, New York has a MOVE OVER Law.

When approaching an Emergency vehicle, with red or white flashing lights, drivers MUST slow down & move into the other lane if safe to do so.

If you see a Hazard vehicle, with amber lights flashing, drivers are also REQUIRED to slow down and move into another lane if it is safe to do so.

This law is designed to PROTECT all emergency and hazard Personnel from injury &/or death.  Failing to slow down and move into another lane as REQUIRED, can result in the driver receiving a moving violation ticket.  Please tell your family and friends about this new law and where you read about it.
